Playing for your county can be a curse as well as a blessing, it seems.

For GAA players, there is no greater honour that representing your county at the highest level. It is an honour bestowed on only those talented enough to compete against players of a similar level in rival counties and earns a player respect and admiration throughout their home county and beyond. Of course, that recognition isn’t always necessarily a good thing, as is illustrated in an amusing sketch by the Fupin Eejits, who we’ve featured regularly on JOE in the past.
