Aaron Paul today announced his latest start-up, which is a fun messaging app built around his memorable Breaking Bad catchphrase ‘Yo Bitch!’
A similar app called Yo launched earlier this year and Yo’s sole function was to send the message ‘Yo’ to other users of the app. That’s it; it was good for pretty much nothing else.
So Aaron Paul decided to launch his own messaging app called ‘YB’ which is shortened from ‘Yo Bitch’, which mirrors the ‘Yo’ app, but there’s a little more to it than just a one word greeting.
Instead of simply sending ‘Yo’ users of YB can choose from a range of greetings including “Yo, Bitch,” “Hooray, Bitch,” “Bueno, Bitch,” etc. depending on their mood or the occasion. It’s sure to come in handy for your granny’s birthday.
You can also use the app to send fellow YB users voice messages, but not just any awl voice message. You can actually send messages to each other that have been recorded by Aaron Paul himself… YEAH BITCH!
While YB is free to download in the iTunes App Store, there are some in-app purchases available that give you more greeting and voice message options.
