Trolls beware, these lads at Tesco ain’t taking no guff from nobody
A few companies have been making waves with their interesting take on social media, in particular brands like Old Spice, who claimed that they made their deodorant out of “volcanos [sic], tanks and freedom”. An interesting marketing strategy.
Anyway, we don’t know who’s in charge of the Twitter account at Tesco Mobile, but they certainly got themselves plenty of attention today with a similar tactic when they issued a pretty epic piece of Twitter smackdown on one particular user who was giving them grief.
The tweet was deleted soon after, but it still garnered hundreds of retweets and the obligatory screengrabs, which have captured the awesomeness for us.
