Seeing what modern TV shows and movies would look like through the magic of 8-bit graphics has become a common phenomenon of late and it’s great.
It allows children of the ’80s and ’90s to indulge in some heady nostalgia, but there’s a modern twist to it too so there’s something for everyone.
Those of you who like House of Cards and are old enough to remember the original Nintendo system will appreciate what a couple of Netflix technical gurus were able to do recently when actually playing a tiny bit of Season Three of the show through the old NES box.
How they went about doing it we’re not actually sure, but surely we’re not the only ones who want to indulge in a House of Cards marathon while simultaneously kicking Bowser’s ass in the original Super Mario Bros. after watching this?
