If you’re a Star Wars fan, then this has been quite the weekend for you.
First we had the trailer for Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, and we go into detail on what we learned from it before the movie’s December release.
And now we’ve got our first look at Battlefront II, which is due out on 17 November this year.
In it you play Iden Versio, who leads the Empire’s special ops Inferno Squadron, and the trailer kicks off with the destruction of the Death Star from the final moments of Return Of The Jedi.
From there the time-frame seems to be all over the place, cos we get to see Darth Maul (from Episode I: The Phantom Menace) all the way up to Kylo Ren (who popped up for a second in the trailer for Episode VIII: The Last Jedi), and loads more in between.
So it looks like we get to play across multiple time-levels, but whether they’ll be linked to each other in the single player mode, or if they’re just playgrounds for the multiplayer mode, we’ve yet to find out.
Regardless, the trailer is properly brilliant, and probably even better than the trailer for The Last Jedi.
Yup, it sure is a good time to be a Star Wars fan…
