Nigel Crawford has been named as the Meath Senior Football captain for the 2010 championship campaign.

Manager Eamon O’Brien has alternated the captaincy once again following Stephen Bray’s tenure last season.

The Dunboyne midfielder is the only remaining member of the 1999 All-Ireland winning panel, having made his championship debut against Wicklow eleven years ago.

Meath face Offaly in their Leinster SFC opener in Portlaoise on Sunday, 23 May at 2pm.
