Thanks to Darren Rovell, an ESPN journalist, we now know that the worldwide leaders in sports entertainment, the WWE, are looking for a head writer.
Reckon you could write the plotlines for Sheamus, John Cena and the rest? Well now you can, so long as you have an extensive background in television and writing and production that is.
Other skills required, according to the job spec include:
Deep understanding of pop culture, trends, and topical events, especially as they relate to television programming
An experimental risk-taking mindset
Awareness of, and potential passion for, WWE content
Deep understanding of the WWE’s audience (demographic and psychographic)
Nope, we don’t know what a ‘psychographic’ is either.
