Irish fans of Star Wars will be delighted with the news that the latest instalment of the Star Wars series could be shot in Ireland.

According to The Sunday World, JJ Abrams is keen to shoot some scenes in Britian and Ireland and has been in contact with the Irish Film Board.
The move would be greatly welcomed by fans and the Film Board alike, with the latest in the George Lucas created series set for release in 2015.
Reports are suggesting that filming will begin sometime around November, while various British media claim that five locations in Britain have also been earmarked as possibilities for the flick.
Should be no shortage of volunteers for roles as extras if shooting does commence here in the near future.
