Video: Cracking clip of Ronaldo and Zlatan reacting to each other’s goals on Tuesday night

We don’t know why exactly, but we think this is just great.

The game may be well over at this stage but we still can’t get enough of the scintillating meeting between Portugal and Sweden and between Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Tuesday night.

Since then, you may have come across the goals themselves, Zlatan applauding Ronaldo after one of his goals, Zlatan’s quotes about how the World Cup is not worth watching without him and some quite amazing Portuguese radio commentary from the match, but why stop there?

A video has surfaced on the website fotbollskanalen.se of two of the best players in the world reacting to each other’s goals on Tuesday night and if you’re a football nerd like we all are in the JOE office, you’ll find it fascinating, not just for the reactions to the goals themselves, but to the off the ball movement in the run-up to them as well.

It’s also funny to see Ronaldo seemingly trying to find fault with a team-mate for both Swedish goals, trying to get a rid of a spit after the second one, while look closely and it seems as if both Zlatan and Ronaldo almost acknowledge each other after Ronaldo’s first goal around 1.28 into the clip.

If you liked ‘Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait – and we certainly did – you’ll love this.
