It will hardly come as a huge shock that Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder enjoys his grub, but his team-mates take great pleasure in pointing it out.
Footage from 101greatgoals shows Rio Ferdinand behind the camera during the club’s pre-season tour, creatively called ‘Rio’s Tour Diary 2013’. The lads are seen strolling around taking in their new surroundings when Ferdinand and his fellow defender started chatting about Anderson, a player who notoriously struggles to keep the weighing scales down.
The Frenchman was quick to point out that he is entrusted with bringing Anderson his day-time burger, and just to prove that the Brazilian really does enjoy his food, later footage from the plane shows that no matter what time of the day or night it is, it’s never too late or early to snack.
Funnily enough, Anderson doesn’t find the whole thing quite as amusing as his team mates…or us for that matter.
