O’Neills today revealed the Ireland jersey that will be worn to face Australia in this year’s International Rules Series.

The first game in Breffni Park, Cavan will take place on October 19 with the second game seven days later in Croke Park with both games under lights and we now know the jersey the Irish team will be wearing into battle. Which could well be the operative word.

The Irish Daily Mail are the sponsors and on first glance the jersey has heads in the JOE office nodding, with the streamlined design for the crest retained from the victorious series of 2011.

We expect the Aussies to give the material strength a thorough examination, but for us supporters it is now on retail at €62 for an adult jersey. Anyone interested can click here for more information.

Let is know what you think of the design.
