He gave his Nissan 240 SX to his fellow waiter at a restaurant.
Zach Braff has revealed how he gave his car away to a Mexican bus-boy as soon he found out he’d landed the main role on ‘Scrubs.’
The 39-year-old actor was 25 when he found out he’d landed the role of J.D. on the hit comedy, in which he starred between 2001 and 2010.
He explained: “I was working as a waiter. I made about a thousand bucks. My parents gave me $5,000 and I put it all into buying a Nissan 240 SX. I loved that car.”
When his big break came, Braff knew that the car needed to go to a more deserving home.
“He was Mexican and had about 10 words of English and I had about 10 words of Spanish but he was probably my best friend at the time.”
Sound man.
