The comedy group Barely Political has given The Monster Mash a modern remake that features Hannibal Lecter, Freddy Krueger and Jigsaw, among other spooky faces.

It’s that time of year again when you can play Bobby “Boris” Pickett & The Crypt Kickers’ 1962 smash hit ‘The Monster Mash’ repeatedly without getting weird looks from those around you.

Just in case you do want to mix up your Halloween playlist with something other than the original Monster Mash tune, you can now include the modern remake too.

The cast of spooky and kooky monsters features familiar faces (or what’s left of their faces) including: Jedidiah “Leatherface” Sawyer (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), The Wolf Man, Michael Meyers (Halloween), Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th), Samara Morgan (The Ring) and the Human Centipede.

You have to admit it’s a pretty catchy tune and if you find yourself liking it enough to sing along – you’d probably want to like it a lot – then you can check out the lyrics over here.

Now, have a listen to the original version featuring the Groovie Goolies. You know you want to…
