Video: Glen Hansard, Paddy Casey, Declan O’Rourke and friends singing The Auld Triangle on Grafton Street last night

We’re sure this warmed the hearts of everyone on a cold Grafton Street last night.

We’re sure this warmed the hearts of everyone on a cold Grafton Street last night.

The free busk for the Simon Community has become one of the highlights of Christmas in Dublin and last night was no different as some of the biggest names from the Irish music scene gathered for a few tunes.

Bono’s ongoing recuperation from a bike accident meant that he couldn’t make it along, but Glen Hansard was there as usual, as were the likes of Damien Rice, Danny from the Script, Declan O’Rourke, Paddy Casey and many more.

Yesterday, we brought you a selection of vines and pictures (courtesy of Sean Earley) from the performances and here’s a full length version of the Auld Triangle as it was sung yesterday evening, with some of the stars present all taking their turn on a verse before the rousing chorus kicked in all over again.
