Sitting down might be tough for Randy de Puniet for a while.
Ever suffer a bad gash on your backside after a nasty fall off your bike?
Well, multiply the worst one you ever got by about 50 and you’ll have an idea of the type of pain Randy de Puniet must have been in after the first Superbike Grand Prix of the season on Saturday.
Paul Denning, the Team Principal of de Puniet’s team, Crescent Suzuki, tweeted a picture of de Puniet’s rear end after the event and it’s not for the squeamish.

Throw in a broken rib or two on top and you can understand why de Puniet might not have slept particularly well on Saturday night.
