We’ve finally got there. We’ve reached peak ‘Healy-Rae’.
Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae has far more important matters on his mind than the future of the coalition government or its Taoiseach, Enda Kenny.
Healy-Rae feels that Killarney National Park is being neglected and that not enough resources are being put into its maintenance; moreover, he’s worried about the state of the rhododendrons.
He wants the government to bring the army in to sort it out, quick smart, and to restore the park to its former glories.
Healy-Rae insists, after all, that Killarney is the tourist capital “of the world.”
RTÉ journalist Conor McMorrow shared this on Tuesday evening.
Michael Healy-Rae, the gift that keeps on giving.
