VIDEO: Minute’s silence in Manchester ends with a spontaneous rendition of an Oasis classic

Tony Cuddihy

An incredible moment amid unspeakable tragedy.

“Come on, sing on!” came the cry as a large crowd gathered at St Ann’s Square in Manchester, England to remember those who had lost their lives in Monday night’s attack at the Manchester Arena.

In a moment that will live long in the memory of anyone who had witnessed it, a woman started singing Oasis’ classic ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ in honour of the victims.

Soon, the surrounding crowd was singing with her.

This clip was shared by freelance journalist Paul Keaveny on Thursday morning.

The poignant moment was also shared by Tessa Chapman.
