You can now fly to the USA from Ireland for just €65

Icelandic airline WOW air are offering Irish passengers flights to the USA from Dublin and Cork for just €65 from today, June 1.

The fare, including taxes and charges, was announced by WOW air to celebrate its fifth anniversary and applies to flights from Dublin Airport and Cork Airport, via Reykjavik, to LA, Miami, San Francisco, New York, Pittsburgh, Montreal and Toronto.

News of the WOW air offer, meanwhile, comes only a week after Norwegian Air announced details of direct fares from Ireland to the US for just €99.

WOW air currently flies from Dublin to Reykjavik five times weekly, increasing to daily in peak summer times, and Cork to Reykjavik three times a week, increasing to four flights a week during peak summer times. Flights connect passengers to ten North America destinations via Reykjavik including New York, Boston, Washington DC, Toronto, Montreal, Miami, LA and San Francisco, with routes to Chicago and Pittsburgh starting in summer 2017.
