Cooper has reportedly signed his contract, with Yates set to follow.
Matt Cooper and Ivan Yates will take over from Vincent Browne on the latter’s iconic TV3 political talk show.
Colette Sexton of the Sunday Business Post reports that Cooper – host of The Last Word on Today FM – has reportedly already signed his deal to front the show, with Newstalk presenter Yates to follow suit next week.
The show broadcasts four nights a week on TV3. Cooper and Yates will host two shows a week together, and one each separately.
The final episode of Tonight with Vincent Browne aired last month. It had been a crucial part of the TV3 evening schedule since 2007.
