The stratospheric rise of Athy duo Picture This continues.
Fresh from selling out venues left, right and centre at home, Picture This are currently in the United States giving music fans an idea of what all the fuss is about.
And their sojourn Stateside looks to be going pretty well so far.
After their album went to number four in the alternative charts in the US, Ryan Hennessey and Jimmy Rainsford appeared on the Today Show on Wednesday morning to perform ‘Take My Hand’, a song that has played a large part in their recent rise to prominence.
The hosts were certainly impressed and it seems that North American audiences are too; the band played to a sold-out crowd in The Bowery in New York on Wednesday night and tickets for a gig at the Velvet Underground in Toronto on Thursday are few and far between.
NEW YORK last night was amazing! Few tickets left in Toronto & Chicago 🎉

The lads will be back to headline two gigs at the 3 Arena on November 7 and 8, gigs which – this is becoming something of a theme – sold out in no-time; after this performance, the world is beginning to sit up and take notice.
