Get set for the funniest film in the MCU.
After Thor: Ragnarok gave us the Devil’s Anus, The Hulk in a hot tub, Jeff Goldblum going, well, full-Goldblum, and the *funniest character in the MCU, we wondered where things would go in Avengers: Infinity War.
*FYI, the funniest character is Korg. See you later, New Doug!
Well, Thanos has a knack for sucking the fun out of most things – mass genocide usually does that – but there were still plenty of laughs to be found in Avengers: Infinity War.
The bro-off between Star-Lord and Thor was a joy to behold, Drax pretending to be invisible was hilarious and as for the one-liners, it’s a toss up between ‘Why is Gamora?” and ‘More power rabbit!” for us.
Anyway, after the monumental downer that occurred at the end of Infinity War, it’s fair to say that comic book fans need something that’s a little bit lighter in the next MCU adventure and after seeing the first trailers for Ant-Man and The Wasp, we knew that this was going to have a very different tone.
Aside from this, there’s a strong case to be made that Michael Peña’s character, the bumbling thief Luis, is the most underrated character in the entire MCU. We love him.
Well, the first few press screenings of Ant-Man and The Wasp took place recently and the reactions have been incredible.
It appears that we’re going to have the funniest film in the MCU.
Ant-Man and The Wasp is released on July 6.
What a year for Marvel! Absolutely loved #AntManAndTheWasp. Stellar ensemble and the humor is spot on. (Laughed myself to tears during one sequence!) The tech is used to great effect yet again. Unique, highly entertaining ride I can’t wait to go on again.

Sooo… #AntmanAndTheWasp is the perfect comic chaser to the doom and gloom of Infinity War. Also, Evangeline Lilly rocks as The Wasp. pic.twitter.com/NrXxy53xHZ

I loved #AntManAndTheWasp. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much in a Marvel movie, though Ragnarok is up there. Nice change of pace from Infinity War. The emsemble is perfect!

Ant-Man is my favorite Marvel movie. This is the sequel I'd been hoping for. I was grinning from ear to ear from start to finish. Irresistibly good fun. As exciting as it is funny, it locks along nicely and it's visually stunning! #antmanandthewasp pic.twitter.com/7tLSv84ujb

Had a blast watching #AntManandtheWasp. It’s super funny, which is its greatest charm. Very personal, small scale story (again) and definitely focused on being light and family friendly. Evangeline Lilly is a badass, and Scott’s daughter Cassie steals the show. Also, ants 🐜 pic.twitter.com/PMAZf94gGa

WOW! #AntManAndTheWasp is a total delight! Funny, inventive, smart and full of great, irresistible energy! The cast is perfect, especially @EvangelineLilly , and the new characters fit in seamlessly. It's got huge stakes, but never loses its smirk or the BIG heart at its center.
