A strong first shot in musical anger.
Having returned to action last year following a brief hiatus, beloved indie festival Knockanstockan returns to its home on the glorious shores of the Blessington Lakes in Wicklow from 19 – 21 July.
A celebration of upcoming acts and established favourites from all over Ireland, Knockanstockan has established itself as one of the highlights of the festival calendar and this year’s line-up is brimming with excellent local talent.
Among the names; Choice Prize-nominated Dundalk shoegazers Just Mustard, rising hip-hop man Nealo, much-touted youthful Limerick outfit PowPig, trad-metal enthusiasts The Scratch, the ever-intriguing Junior Brother and the compelling tones of Kitt Phillippa.
The first 34 acts for the 2019 edition, announced on Monday morning, look like this:
