The teenager who has been christened “Eggboy” by the internet has gained a lot of attention online.
A video emerged on Friday night that showed Fraser Anning, the Senator for Queensland in Australia, who is known for his controversial far-right opinions, getting egged by a teenage boy.
Most recently, Anning blamed Muslim immigrants for the shooting that took place in New Zealand on Friday, that resulted in the death of 49 people.
While speaking to a number of news cameras on Friday, a 17-year-old boy named Will Connolly lurked in the backgrounds, before smashing an egg over Anning’s head.
Anning responded by slapping the boy in the face twice, before Connolly was tackled to the ground by two bouncers.
The video quickly went viral, as you can imagine it would. Take a look here:

Labelled “Eggboy” by the internet, he posted a video that showed his reaction to the incident, and it’s safe to say that he’s feeling a little bit worse for wear:

Evidently, being tackled by two bouncers doesn’t feel too great.
