The gritty comedy drama stars Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, a deeply likeable chef attempting to restore his late brother's Chicago sandwich restaurant with varying results. Together with his rag-tag team of chefs, they try to get a handle on the place and cope with a range of stressful challenges, including health inspector visits, family drama and budding relationships. And, as the restaurant develops, the team are also forced to reckon with their own pasts, and decide who they want to be in the future.
