Here is the trailer for Godfall, the first confirmed game for the PlayStation 5
Shiny.
Thursday was a big night in the video game world, what with the Game of the Year Awards and all.
The terrific Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was crowned Game of the Year, but there were plenty of other awards handed out. Read about those right here.
Also of note; the first trailer for a PlayStation 5 game, one that boasts in-game footage and not just fancy cinematics - though it is, admittedly, mostly made up of those.
That game is Godfall, which comes from Gearbox Software, who have previously released the likes of Borderlands and Battleborn.
Described as a "looter-slasher", Godfall arrives in "Holiday 2020" so that means Christmas, basically.
Visually, it resembles a splice of Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and what might happen of God of War and Gears of War were meshed together.
Mechanically, the game is a third-person effort that focuses on melee combat set in some far-off weird fantasy realm.
And that's pretty much it. Check out the trailer below.
