Fancy seeing all the best and brightest of Irish music talent under one roof?
The Meteor Choice Music Prize sees the best Irish music talent all come together under one roof to win prizes and put on some great performances. With acts such as Girls Names, Little Green Cars, Mano Le Tough, O Emperor, Lisa O’Neill and Villagers confirmed for the event this month, it’s guaranteed to be a night of ceol agus craic.
Apart from that, there well also be a few awards up for grabs, and an Irish act will definitely scoop the Album of the Year award and the Irish Song of the Year Award, which are both determined by the public. You can get involved by voting online for your favourite shortlisted song on the Meteor Facebook page or by texting ‘SONG’ to 085 7114444 for a list of nominees.
We have 3 pairs of tickets to give away to the Meteor Choice Music Prize in Vicar Street on 27th February, thanks to Meteor. For the first time this year, RTE 2 Television will broadcast a one-hour highlights programme of the Meteor Choice Music Prize on Sunday March 2nd at 10.30pm, so you might even get your mug on the telly in the crowd.
