There’s nothing worse then clogging up the toilet, mainly because it means you have to unclog the blasted thing. Here’s how to do the nasty job in five minutes.

Every man out there needs his throne to be working in perfect order, because who knows what the day’s business might bring? However, for one reason or another the toilet can often get clogged up, so here’s a quick and easy way to clear the clog.

What you’ll need:

Full sized plunger
Toilet auger
Bucket
Rubber gloves

Step 1: Be prepared

If you haven’t already got yourself prepared then make sure to get a full sized plunger, toilet auger, bucket and a pair of rubber gloves and keep them close to the jacks. Step 2: Turn off the water

If you have a clog in your toilet that’s causing the water in the bowl to overflow then the first thing you should do is to turn off the water intake valve underneath the tank. Then remove half of the water in the bowl with your bucket.

Step 3: Plunge the clog

Once half of the water in the bowl has been removed, get a nice tight grip of the plunger and give it socks. Quickly pull and push the plunger in and out of the bowl to remove the clog. Just make sure there is good suction between the plunger and the bowl.

Step 4: If all else fails, crack out the big guns

If you’re gone on a binge of roughage as of late, and the clog doesn’t seem to be shifting, then you may have to use a toilet auger. These are also called ‘toilet snakes’ in case you didn’t know. Simply jam this into the toilet and wind clockwise until you can feel the clog. Pull the auger out quickly and remove whatever was clogging the can.

It might turn out to be one of your kids toys, or just a really big…
