Kitchen Disaster: High pressure cooking results in an absolute disaster

If you've ever needed a solid reason for leaving the cooking to the professionals then we've found it...

If you’ve ever needed a solid reason for leaving the cooking to the professionals then we’ve found it…

There are two sides to cooking. Firstly, you have to prepare the food and cook it enough so that it won’t give you, and whoever else is eating it, food poisoning. The second side of cooking is the cleaning up afterwards, and it’s safe to say no bloke likes cleaning up a mess in the kitchen. That’s why we feel extra sorry for poor guy.

Whilst cooking up a festive Venezuelan stew in a pressure cooker something went horribly wrong, and the clamps holding the lid securely to the pot failed miserably causing the stew to go everywhere. When we say everywhere, we mean EVERYWHERE.

Literally the whole kitchen, and some of the adjoining room, is covered in the lad’s homemade stew and he didn’t manage to get out of the firing line in time either. So after going to all that effort preparing the meal, the guy had to spend the rest of the day – if not week – cleaning up, and he didn’t even get to eat any of his stew.

If only he logged onto Just-Eat.ie instead and had his favourite food delivered right to his door. At least then he could have avoided this catastrophic kitchen disaster… Don’t let it happen to you.
