A new Paddy ‘Pintman’ Losty video has been released and it documents Galway’s hurling win

There have been flags with Losty's image on it, pub crawls have been done in his honour and men have even worn a Pintman shirt on their back for their stags. Yes, we've covered Pintman a lot and you know what, we're going "at it agin" because another brilliant tribute to the great Paddy Losty video has been released and this time it follows his beloved Galway and their All-Ireland final journey to Liam McCarthy success. Losty is heading up to Croke Park but not before he gets a feed of Maureen's fry into him (along with a bonus steak because it's All-Ireland Final day). He goes out to feed the cows and gives them a bit extra too because if Galway win, they won't see an ounce of grub for two weeks. Maureen is ready to go to the match but Paddy has promised the extra ticket to Higgins because he's a diehard fan. Losty is so confident that Galway is going to win that he puts €200 on them "on the nose" in the bookies. His first port of call when he lands up to the capital is to head to "the watering trough i.e. the bar," and it's here where he probably produces the best line of the video... As Losty continues to dream about a famous All-Ireland win, the end of the video breaks into old radio and television clips from the last time the Tribesmen were triumphant in 1988 and features audio from the late Tony Keady as well as Joe McDonagh singing The West Awake. Eanna Ryan, the voice behind Pintman, told JOE his reasons behind making another Paddy Losty video for the hurling final:

"I hurled with the Galway seniors up to 2011 and played with a good few of the current team and shared a voice recording before every game this year with Colm Callanan and James Skehill. "Tony Keady was a top class guy also who trained Killimordaly seniors last year which I was a part of and I wanted him to have the final word on it. "Plus I was dreaming of Galway winning and thank f*ck they did. Genuinely all started as a bit of craic but did a few recordings since as a lucky charm for the lads. "I like talking about old Ireland and the Pintman of Galway. Some great characters around and they will soon be gone."
