The request was fantastic, the execution was even better.
Who hasn’t lain in bed at night and thought ‘I’d love to have Marty Morrissey watching over me as I sleep’? Grand, we were worried it was just us.
So while we naturally have a framed shot of the Clare legend in our own bedrooms, when we travel, we simply have to leave it behind. What we never thought to do was ask if our hotel could provide a pic of Marty for us.
That’s the difference between us and Dani Smith. She was planning a trip to Galway and asked her hotel, Ashford Manor, if they could provide her with a framed picture of Marty beside her bed.
And the wonderful folks at the hotel duly obliged, as Dani proves with this picture from when she checked in.
Now that’s customer service. Hats off to the folks at Ashford Manor Guesthouse
