There was some fierce competition to win a year’s free shopping from Aldi, but the latest dance craze has helped one fan scoop the prize
A few weeks ago, JOE teamed up with our mates at Aldi to ask you to get involved with their Facebook campaign to find their number one fan, with the tasty prize of a year’s free shopping for the lucky winner.
Gerard Glick was the dedicated fan who came up with a short but brilliant video that showed his love for Ireland’s best value supermarket and their range of great products.
We haven’t heard whether Gerard plans to release a full-length single featuring him spitting bars about the quality of Aldi’s breakfast cereals, or maybe even an LP inspired by the works of Aldi, but that’s a concept album that we’d like to hear. Congratulations to Gerard anyway, we might pop round for a cup of tea seeing as the kitchen should be well stocked with biscuits now that he’s won all that free shopping.
