The Ploughing Championships are in full swing right now as 280,000 people are expected to travel down to Co Laois for the festivities.
Like all major events, I’d imagine that a hell of a lot of planning is involved to make the events as perfect as possible and for Irish people, there are always a few things that we demand/insist.
I’d wager that a decent cup of tea is high up the list and there’s no shortage of Lyons or Barry’s though because Lidl’s tea team have broken the Guinness World Record for the most cups of tea made in an hour.
