Coughlan called him out for his inappropriate writing yesterday.
Nicola Coughlan, star of the hit TV show Derry Girls exposed a male critic for his completely inappropriate way of writing about her.
Philip Fisher is a writer for the British Theatre Guide, and wrote nastily about Coughlan’s body and physical appearance on a number of occasions.
Yesterday, Coughlan took to Twitter to address Fisher:

She finished her assessment of the critic by saying: “Let me state this clearly, he is not welcome to review any show I am in from now till forever. And I plan to be in a lot of damn shows. Peace.”
Since then, the British Theatre Guide have released an apology on behalf of the organisation.
They replied to Coughlan’s tweets saying: “Nicola, we apologise unreservedly for the offence caused by the wording of this review. The offending words have been removed. While the reviewer may not have intended to offend, he accepts that it is not acceptable to use such descriptions in a review and not BTG policy.”
The apology included the line “while the reviewer may not have intended to offend”, which has caused a number of people to question how genuine it really is?

He 'accepts it is not acceptable to use such descriptions in a review yet continually does it? More like he's sorry someone has finally called him out and is groveling to save his job.
Well done @nicolacoughlan for being the one to call him out. 👍
