Better Call Saul

“With every passing season, Better Call Saul gets closer and closer to Breaking Bad.”

After what feels like an eternity, we finally have our first look at the new season of Better Call Saul.

Although the trailer doesn’t feature an incredible amount of footage from the new season, it does manage to give us some insightful information with regards to how the fifth series is going to go.

The first trailer for the penultimate season of the series shows that things are intensifying between Mike, Gus and the cartel, while Jimmy has almost completed his transformation into Saul Goodman.

We also see things escalate between Jimmy and Kim, which is perhaps going to be the most interesting aspect of the final two seasons.

As we’re sure you’re aware, Kim at no point makes an appearance in Breaking Bad, so seeing why she disappears, for lack of a better word, is going to be fascinating.

As show creator Vince Gilligan says: “With every passing season, Better Call Saul gets closer and closer to Breaking Bad.”

Take a look here:

It has already been announced that fan-favourites from Breaking Bad Hank Schrader and Steve ‘Gomey’ Gomez will make their Better Call Saul debuts in this season, so if the trailer hasn’t got you excited, that should do the trick.

The first episode of Better Call Saul will land on Netflix on 24 February, with a new episode then being added every week.
