Friday night is finally here, and there's a fabulous movie on TV for all you cinephiles.
Our movie on TV pick for tonight (Friday, 21 November) is a hugely underrated thriller, starring Love/Hate actor Aidan Gillen.
The film, titled Blitz, has a star-studded cast, and also features Jason Statham, Paddy Considine and David Morrissey.
The story follows Statham as DS Tom Brant, who finds his career threatened when his violent methods get exposed.
It features an iconic scene showing the actor beat up a group of car robbers using a hurley.
"It's used in the Irish game of hurling - a cross between hockey and murder," he explains before proceeding to use the object to do some serious damage
Blitz is airing on Legend at 9pm tonight, Friday, 21 November.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - Channel 4 - 9pm
The fourth instalment of the Mission Impossible franchise.
Crazy Rich Asians - RTE2 - 9.35pm
Constance Wu travels to Singapore to attempt to win over her boyfriend's extremely wealthy family in this 2018 rom-com. Adaptation of the Kevin Kwan novel of the same name.
Halal Daddy - RTE One - 11.15pm
This 2017 comedy sees Nikesh Patel try to find his place in a small town in Sligo. Also starring Colm Meaney and Sarah Bolger.
Basic Instinct - 12.15am - Legend Xtra
Sharon Stone stars in this 90s classic erotic thriller.
