Netflix’s new horror movie is getting some scarily positive reviews

The new scary movie from the makers of Get Out and Split is available to watch right now.

Blumhouse have had a rollercoaster of a year in terms of quality. On the one hand they had the Halloween reboot, BlackKklansman, and Upgrade, while on the other they had stuff like Truth Or Dare, Unfriended: Dark Web, and Insidious: The Last Key. Their latest release, Cam, falls firmly into that former, high quality category. The neon-soaked story focuses on Alice [Madeline Brewer - The Handmaid's Tale], a young woman who relies on a webcam service for work. Finding herself suddenly locked out of her account, she investigates the problem only to find a digital clone has taken over and intends to make her life a living hell. Here are a few of the strong reviews the film has been getting so far: "[Director and writer] Goldhaber’s steady hand ensures that things are rivetingly queasy from start to finish, and Brewer’s performance is powerful enough to flip the script on the entire cam experience." - Indiewire "Brewer, of course, is the glue that holds the puzzle together.
