Alan Loughnane

Well deserved…

Irish stars Colin Farrell and Ruth Negga are among those nominated for the 74th Golden Globes.

The three hour show will air on January 8, and there will be a heavy Irish interest in the awards following the nominations of Colin Farrell for his role in Lobster, and Irish-Ethiopian actress Ruth Negga for her wonderful performance in the civil rights drama Loving.

Irish actress Caitriona Balfe was also nominated for Best Actress in a TV Drama for her role in Outlander.

Sing Street earned a nomination for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
