A new Dave Chappelle special is coming to Netflix very soon

Rudi Kinsella

The trailer is narrated by Morgan Freeman, as if you needed any more of a reason to get excited.

When you think about the best comedians of all time, Dave Chappelle would have to be in the conversation.

Boasting one of the greatest comedy sketch shows in recent memory, a massive fanbase, and a career that spans well over 20 years, he is undeniably one of the comedians that the world has seen.

And he’s not thinking of calling it a day anytime soon.

The 45-year-old has announced that his new special Sticks and Stones is coming to Netflix on 26 August.

Take a look at the trailer for the special here, which is narrated by Morgan Freeman, and features Mr Chappelle looking fairly buff, if you ask us:

Based on the trailer, and the title of special, we get the impression that Chappelle will once again address the current environment for comedians, where they must toe the line between being their typical offensive self, without taking things too far in the eyes of society.

Chappelle tends to have a strict “no phones” policy at his performances these days, as he did in Dublin back in 2018, so we’re excited to see some new footage.
