While David Attenborough’s name has been attached to too many incredible projects to name, you can tell when one of them is going to captivate audiences in a different way.
And the upcoming Netflix documentary David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet looks like it’s going to have everyone watching.
The documentary will see the icon reflect upon both the defining moments of his lifetime and the devastating changes he has seen.
The film addresses some of the biggest challenges facing life on our planet, providing a snapshot of global nature loss in a single lifetime.
And while it does appear to make some worrying predictions, with it comes a powerful message of hope for future generations as Attenborough reveals the solutions to help save our planet from disaster.
He says: “This film is my witness statement and my vision for the future. The story of how we came to this our greatest mistake. And how, if we act now, we can yet put it right.”

David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet drops on Netflix on 4 October.
It was originally due to be released in cinemas in April earlier this year, but the release was delayed due to the spread of Covid-19.
