Disney+ reveals 7 must-watch new arrivals in September

Some great new shows and movies coming to Disney+ throughout the month.

September is a pretty stacked month for Disney+ subscribers, and they have revealed all of the new (and some classic) movies and shows arriving on the streaming service throughout September. JUSTIFIED: CITY PRIMEVAL Timothy Olyphant returns to the role of US Marshal Raylan Givens in this seven-episode mini-series follow-up to the hugely popular TV show. This time around, he has moved from Kentucky to Miami, and soon finds himself recruited to hunt down a very dangerous and violent criminal. All episodes available from Wednesday 6 September. THE LITTLE MERMAID At the time of writing, this is the 7th biggest box office hit at cinemas in 2023 so far, but if you happened to miss this live-action remake of the beloved animated classic, you'll be happy to hear you can watch it over and over and over again at home soon enough. The movie arrives exclusively on Disney+ on Wednesday 7 September. THE OTHER BLACK GIRL A comedy-drama-mystery (ALL of the genres!) based on a best selling book, it tells the story of a lonely publication house employee (Sinclair Daniel - Insidious: The Red Door) who begins to suspect that her new co-worker Hazel (Ashleigh Murray - Riverdale) might be purposefully damaging her career. All episodes available from Wednesday 13 September. WELCOME TO WREXHAM: SEASON 2 After the rollercoaster of events from season one, the hit sports documentary series is back. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney (who we spoke to about season one, check out that clip below) return to get their team even higher in the leagues! New episodes arrive weekly from Wednesday 13 September. MR MERCEDES: SEASONS 1, 2 & 3 All 30 episodes of the Stephen King serial killer thriller adaptation arrive on Disney+ this plus. A retired detective (Brendan Gleeson), still haunted by a murderer that he never caught, gets pulled into an investigation surrounding a new serial killer killer (Harry Treadaway), who is desperate to leave his mark on the world. All episodes available from Wednesday 20 September. NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU Kaitlyn Dever (Dopesick, Booksmart) stars in this sci-fi horror about a exiled loner who suspects that her home has been invaded by a lethal extraterrestrial creature. The movie arrives on Disney+ on Friday 22 September. THE KARDASHIANS: SEASON 4 As Kim puts it in the teaser below: "More fun. More family. And so much more drahms."
