This savings deal will only be available before the streaming service’s official launch in Ireland.

Disney+ has announced that movie and TV lovers in Ireland can now purchase a yearly subscription to the streaming service for the introductory price of €59.99.

This pre-launch offer for the annual subscription is only available until 23 March 2020, and is equivalent to €5 per month.

Standard pricing at launch has been confirmed at €6.99 per month, or €69.99 for an annual subscription.

Fans will be able to see loads of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel movies, as well as original television shows like The Mandalorian and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

Although despite the buzz that is surrounding the arrival of the streaming service in Ireland, there is one thing that is putting a bit of a dampener on the whole situation.

It seems as though The Simpsons may not be included in the rollout for the UK and Ireland, due to the differing television rights here.

Disney+ are yet to confirm whether or not this is the case, but there is no mention of the beloved animated series in the short trailer posted on their Twitter page.
