Great news for fans of the Broadway sensation.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of musical phenomenon Hamilton, has confirmed that the Hamilton movie will feature the original Broadway cast.
The musical is regarded as one of the greatest of all time, and after breaking countless records since its release, a movie was always going to happen at some point.
And although we still don’t know when it’s going to come out, or when production will even start, we do know that it will feature the original Broadway cast, which is great.
Miranda confirmed this news speaking to Variety recently.

The original cast’s album is certified six times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and has become the best-selling cast album of all time.
A movie adaptation of In The Heights, another movie created by Miranda, will be released in Ireland on 7 August of this year.
