Have a spare €30,000? Bruce Lee’s iconic yellow and black jumpsuit is up for auction…

Everybody was kung-fu fighting... over owning the classic costume.

Have a penchant for iconic 1970’s martial arts onesies and also happen to have a spare €30,000 lying around?

If that sounds like you then you’re in luck as, according to a story in the South China Morning Post, Bruce Lee’s classic yellow and black jumpsuit is going on sale at a Hong Kong auction house later this week.

As long as it’s been dry cleaned we don’t mind…

The martial arts legend famously wore the outfit during Game Of Death, his final film before his untimely death in 1973. Now fans of the film and kung-fu fighting will have the opportunity to purchse the item of kick-ass clothing for the not-so-bank-manager-friendly price of $300,000 (Hong Kong dollars).

A spokesperson for Spink auction house said that the unidentified collector decided to sell the item this year, which marks the 40th anniversary of Lee’s death, along with a number of other props from Game of Death including a pair of yellow lacquered wooden nunchaku and a bamboo whip.

Check out the martial arts master in action as he absolutely beats the pants off his unfortunate opponent:

Right, we’re off to rummage around the back of our sofa for some loose change while imagining parading around town in our new Bruce Lee jumpsuit. We doubt that we’re ever going to look as good as Uma Thurman in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill though…
