So to keep you preoccupied, here are the seven best movies on TV this Saturday (4 April).

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 – Film4 – 6.20pm

The final instalment of The Hunger Games saga. You probably shouldn’t watch it unless you’ve seen Part 1…

Cars 3 – RTÉ One – 6.35pm 

The third one. Lighting McQueen tries to prove he’s still one of the world’s best. You don’t have to have an in-depth knowledge of the first two to enjoy it.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines – SYFY – 9pm

Judgement Day approaches. The machines are rising. ‘I’ll be back’ etc.

Anchorman – Sky One – 9pm

One of the best comedy movies of all time. You stay classy, San Diego.

40 Days and 40 Nights – Comedy Central – 9pm

After a nasty break-up, a young man vows to stay celibate during all of Lent, which proves to be difficult when he meets the love of his life.

Payback – TCM Movies – 9pm

Mel Gibson stars in this 1999 neo-noir action thriller film, where his character is out for, as you may have guessed, Payback.

Patriots Day – RTÉ Two – 9.30pm

Mark Wahlberg and Melissa Benoist star in this thriller about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and the subsequent manhunt for the perpetrators.
