Monday night is movie night.
It's a Monday evening. What else would you be doing aside from chilling on the couch and watching a movie?
And if you're like this writer and have essentially completed Netflix, maybe you're looking to check out something on the TV.
Here are your options:
Twister - 8.30pm - Sky One
A storm-chaser and her estranged husband are brought together in a joint project to monitor the path of an oncoming tornado. Starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.
Crimson Tide - 9pm - ITV 4
A submarine movie based on a true story, starring Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington. Like all Denzel flicks, it's worth a watch.
Deadpool - 9pm - Film4
Hilarious superhero movie that pokes fun at itself and every other film in its genre. It may seem like a movie for children, but we promise that it's not...
The Truman Show - 9.30pm - TG4
A damn-near perfect film that becomes more and more relevant each day. More on why you should watch it
here.
Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man - 10pm - Sky Arts
Documentary about the fascinating life and career of Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, featuring archive footage and live performances.
The Theory of Everything - 10.10pm - Sky Atlantic
A brilliant Stephen Hawking biopic starring the incredible Eddie Redmayne. Definitely worth the watch if you've never seen it.
