Some decent options if you’re looking for a laugh this evening.

The weekend is drawing to a close, so what else would you be doing other than watching a movie on the couch?

If like many of us you completed Netflix during lockdown, you may be turning to your own tele box.

If so, here’s what we’re dealing with tonight.

Home Alone – 6.55pm – Film 4

Obviously a classic movie, but there is something a bit dirty about watching it when it’s not even nearly Christmas.

Green Lantern – 7.45pm – ITV2

Sci-fi adventure starring Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Not what you would call a good movie, but still somehow quite fun to watch…

Bad Teacher – 9pm – Comedy Central

Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel and Justin Timberlake star in a relatively decent raunchy comedy.

Sex and the City 2 – 9pm – RTÉ2

The gals are back, and though they are all slightly older than they were when the show was going on, they’re still up to their wild antics. Even raunchier than Bad Teacher.

Patch Adams – 9pm – Sky Comedy

Funny flick starring the late, great Robin Williams as a controversial student doctor.

Happy Gilmore – 9pm – Sky One

Adam Sandler’s best movie. End of story.
