Not a whole lot else to do, so why not watch a movie?

The weather is starting to pick up a bit and the evenings are getting longer, but even still, we’re all still spending quite a lot of time indoors in the current climate.

So why not settle in on the couch this evening and throw on a movie? Here are the best options to pick from tonight.

Mother’s Day – Film4 – 6.45pm

Just a few days late, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Julia Roberts join forces for this comedy-drama set in the week before Mother’s Day.

Ocean’s Thirteen – Comedy Central – 9pm

George Clooney rounds up the troops (Matt Damon, Brad Pitt etc) for a third time after casino owner Al Pacino double-crosses one of the original 11.

A Good Day to Die Hard -Film4 – 9pm

The fifth one. Yippee Ki Yay.

Anchorman 2 – E4 – 10pm

A somehow more bizarre sequel to one of the funniest comedies of all time, and one that holds its own among Will Ferrell’s impressive catalogue. DOBY!

Resident Evil: Apocalypse – TCM Movies – 11.40pm

A decent late-night horror movie for you in case you’re not already terrified enough of life itself these days.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
