Movies On TV

Looking for a movie on this fine Wednesday evening?

We’ve made it halfway through the week, and the only appropriate way to celebrate these days is with a movie on the TV.

We don’t make the rules, we just enforce them.

Here’s what we’re dealing with tonight:

Exodus: Gods and Kings – 9pm – More4

Christian Bale (arguably the best actor in the world these days? Discuss…) plays Moses in this biblical epic. Also starring Joel Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro.

The Mountain Between Us – 9pm – Film4

A fairly decent 2017 film starring Idris Elba and Kate Winslet. The two are on a plane that crashes, so they have to attempt to survive in the wilderness, while also fighting their attraction to each other, knowing it is not right for them to be together.

Get Carter – 9pm – Sony Movie Channel

A remake of the classic crime thriller, with a really star-studded cast. Sylvester Stallone, Miranda Richardson, Mickey Rourke and Rachael Leigh Cook all feature, as well as Michael Caine, who starred in the original movie.

Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie – 9.35pm – RTÉ One

If you like the extremely popular show, we are sure that you’ll love the movie too.

Scarface – 10pm – ITV4

Say hello to my little friend! An all-time great, and one you should definitely watch if you haven’t seen it yet.
