Some decent choices here of a Sunday evening.

It’s a Sunday. The end of the week.

But before a new week can begin, there is one thing you must do, and that’s settle in on the couch and watch a movie.

Here are the best choices this evening.

Jurassic World – 6.35pm – ITV 2

Decades on from the creation of Jurassic Park, a fully operational attraction filled with genetically engineered dinosaurs has been opened on the island.

Kind of asking for trouble really.

The Mask – 7pm – Comedy Central

Jim Carrey at his (borderline terrifying) best, in a movie about, you guessed it, a mask.

Ice Age – 7.25pm – E4

An all-time classic animated movie, that is great fun for all of the family, featuring a class cast of voice actors.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard – 9pm – Channel Four

Comedy action thriller, starring Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson, Gary Oldman and Salma Hayek, which really should have you sold already.

The Longest Yard – 9pm – Comedy Central

The funniest sports movie ever? It’s definitely up there.

Legally Blonde – 9pm – RTÉ Two

Reese Witherspoon stars as a lovable college student who has enrolled in Harvard law school purely to get back at her ex, and to show him what she’s really made of. A brilliant film.
