Tomorrow night’s Christmas special is going to be a good one.
The Late Late Show is back this Friday (13 December) with a star-studded Christmas special.
Fresh off of his second magical Late Late Toy Show, Patrick Kielty will be joined by an array of fascinating guests, from dancers to actors.
With the brand new season looming, the next five contestants vying for the glitterball on the upcoming series of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will be in the studio.
Putting them through their paces, the newest judge to the panel, Karen Byrne, will also be joining Patrick to discuss her experiences from the cha cha to the rumba for the class of 2025.
As for current affairs, Patrick will sit down with Commandant Jane O’Neill and Private Adam Higgins who have recently returned from South Lebanon.
Deployed as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the pair will talk about what life was like in Camp Shamrock, and how it feels to be home for Christmas.
Actor, writer and director, Rupert Everett, will be on the couch to chat about his time in Ireland, his new book ‘The American No’, as well as his recent guest appearance in the Netflix hit ‘Emily in Paris’.
Additionally, Irish athlete Ciara Mageean will be chatting about a year that saw her win gold at the European Championships, the injury that laid waste to her Olympic dream and why she isn’t giving up that dream just yet.
The County Down native will share her journey of recovery with Patrick and will also be looking ahead to the GOAL Mile, for which she is an ambassador.
As for the music, well don’t you worry!
Two of Ireland’s best-known singers, Nathan Carter and Una Healy have joined forces for the first time to record a Christmas classic in aid of Barnardos.
They’ll be joining Patrick for a chat before performing ‘Mistletoe and Wine’ live in studio with the children’s choir from Corville National School in Roscrea, County Tipperary.
The Late Late Show is airing this Friday on RTÉ One from 9.35pm.
